D'Addario Prelude J910MM Viola String Set - Medium Tension - Medium Scale

Upgrade your instrument's performance with the D'Addario Prelude J910 MM Viola String Set. Renowned across school orchestras and private studios as the educator's choice, Prelude strings combine a solid steel core with precision manufacturing to deliver the warmest, most balanced tone available in an economy student string design.

Engineered specifically for medium-scale violas (body length 15"–16" with a playing length around 14 1/8" / 360 mm), this medium-tension set offers an easy, forgiving bow response and immediate pitch stability. Unlike traditional gut or perlon-core strings, Prelude steel-core strings remain unaffected by temperature and humidity changes, making them exceptionally reliable for practicing, rehearsals, and seasonal recitals.
