D'Addario EJ64 Nickel Plated Dulcimer Strings | 4-String Loop End

Bring out the authentic, sweet acoustic resonance of your Appalachian mountain dulcimer with D'Addario EJ64 Dulcimer Strings. Engineered specifically for 4-string dulcimers, the EJ64 set delivers exceptional dynamic response, crisp articulation, and stable pitch retention suitable for traditional strumming, flatpicking, and delicate fingerstyle playing.

Balanced Tone, Traditional Clarity

The EJ64 set pairs plain steel melody and drone strings with an expertly drawn nickel-wound bass string. This construction produces a warm, woody acoustic voice with just the right amount of high-end chime—ensuring your chords sound full without overpowering the instrument's natural overtones. Whether tuned to D-A-D (Ionian/Mixolydian) or D-A-A, these strings provide comfortable tension and smooth playability across all frets.
