Order Processing Time

The average processing time for orders placed online is usually between 24-48 hours during working business days (Monday through Friday). Holiday processing times may increase our lead times but no more than 3 days.


Shipping Methods

Our primary shipping method is UPS. For smaller goods we will use USPS.


Shipping Costs

We offer free shipping at $75. All rates below the $75 threshold are calculated at checkout and are based on the gross weight of all items.

  • For orders to Alaska and Hawaii, please contact us for a custom shipping quote.


Estimated Delivery Time

Delivery times will vary according to the carrier used and final destination. UPS will take on average 2-3 days when delivering to the western part of the United States and 5-7 days when delivering to the eastern part of the United States. USPS can take longer at 3-5 days in the western United States and 7-9 days in the eastern United States.


Packaging & Handling

We carefully package all of our instruments. The instrument is placed inside a foam bag and then inside a triangle box specific to the instrument. We then take that box and instrument and place it inside another rectangle box with paper packing. Smaller accessory goods will receive standard packing inside a suitable box or padded envelope.


Shipping Insurance

Currently, we do not insure shipments however insurance is available by customer request.


International Shipping

We can certainly ship internationally. Before placing an order, please contact us at sales@chesbromusiccompany.com for a quote.


Signature Requirement

For orders exceeding $500, we require a signature upon delivery.


Damaged Upon Arrival

In the unlikely event that your order arrives with damaged goods, please follow these steps:

  1. Do Not Throw Away Any Packaging Materials: The shipping carrier will need to see them for the insurance claim.

  2. Contact us within 24 hours of delivery at sales@chesbromusiccompany or 208-522-8691.

  3. Please provide your order number and include several clear photos of the damaged box, the packaging materials, and the damage to the instrument or other products. We will handle the insurance claim and work with you to arrange a repair, replacement, or refund.
